GLASGOW, Scotland -- Vancouver’s Scott Morgan led the Canadian men’s team to third place on the first day of the artistic gymnastics competition on Monday at the Commonwealth Games.

Custio Clayton, the 2012 Olympic welterweight continued his journey for gold in the 69-kilogram weight-class at the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Clayton began strongly on July 25th with a 3-0 win over Jonathan Francois of Grenada and spoke of his eagerness.

GLASGOW, Scotland – Audrey Lacroix completed her Commonwealth Games medal collection Monday by winning gold in the women’s 200-m butterfly.

As the Glasgow 2014 weightlifting continued, Canada was well represented in our medal hopes by Marie-Josée Arès-Pilon from Edmonton Alberta and Kristel Ngarlem of Montreal.

With a personal best career weight of 301KG, Daryl Conrad of Winnipeg Manitoba was a heavy favourite within the B group of the men’s 85kg.

Canadian cycling won their first medal on the final day of track cycling as Rémi Pelletier-Roy (Longueuil, QC) sprinted to bronze in the men’s 20km scratch race.
