TORONTO—The nation’s best high-performance triathletes received a huge boost of support in their quest for the international podium as one of the top coaches in the world, Jamie Turner, has been recruited to lead the Canadians as national team coach, Triathlon Canada announced on Monday.
Montréal, December 1st, 2013 – The Canadian judoka Kyle Reyes didn’t pass under the radar, Sunday, on the 3rd day of competition at the Tokyo Grand Slam in Japan. The only Canadian in action did his country proud, claiming the silver medal in the under 100 kg class.

(Manchester, GBR – November 1, 2013) The Canadian Women’s Team Pursuit squad started the 2014 UCI Track Cycling World Cup on the right note, earning the silver medal in Manchester, GBR. In doing so, the four-woman team broke the Canadian record, posting a time of 4:27.083.
Leader Bio: Originally from Leicester, England, Matthew spent many years coaching and developing soccer in the UK. In 2007 he moved to Toronto, Canada to take a job with the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA) where he began as a special projects coordinator. Matthew is now the Manager of Club Development for the OSA.
Leader Bio: Matthew is a very accomplished rugby player, competing nationally and internationally. He was voted 2005 Player of the Year while on Team Canada's Rugby team.
Leader Bio: Peter's expertise includes sponsorship and revenue generation. He also has significant experience in negotiating creative partnership, pricing, and property evaluations. He is an innovative and successful Senior Executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience. Peter was the Director of Marketing and Communications at Rowing Canada from 1996 - 2000. From there he moved into the role of Director of Marketing and Business Development for Canadian Interuniversity Sport for a duration of 7 years.
