On the third day of competitions at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games, the Canadian gymnastics athletes have continued to put in their best efforts.

On July 31, the second day of weightlifting at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, from the National Exhibition Centre, featured the brother-sister duo of Tali and Shad Darsigny, from St-Simon-de-Bagot, Quebec. Both siblings were looking to bring their best and earn a spot on the podium.

Kylie Masse showed why she is one of Canada’s most durable and successful swimmers in history with her silver medal performance Sunday in the 100-m backstroke at the Commonwealth Games.

Paralympian silver medalist in swimming (Sydney 2000) and Tokyo 2020 Para Triathlon competitor Jessica Tuomela has won a bronze-medal today in para triathlon at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

At the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Amanda Woodcroft once lined up with the Canadian Women’s Field Hockey Team along side her sister Nikki.

On the second day of competition at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games, the Canadian women’s artistic gymnastics team has won bronze at the Arena Birmingham. Much to the crowd’s pleasure, Team England took the gold. Australia took the silver.

Olympic champion Maggie Mac Neil and Nicolas-Guy Turbide of Quebec City each won gold Saturday in two of the closest swimming races so far at the Commonwealth Games.

July 30, 2022: Canada’s Kelsey Mitchell of Sherwood Park, AB, reached the Commonwealth Games podium again today at the Lee Valley VeloPark in London.

After the team medal yesterday, today Olympic gold medalist Mitchell was second in the finals to win the Women’s Sprint silver.
