Canadian throwers dominated the penultimate day of athletics competition in Birmingham. Gold, silver and bronze medals from the hammer throw ring, and a new Commonwealth shotput record brought the Canadian fan base to their feet.

August 6, 2022 – Second day of competition, second medal for young diver Mia Vallée at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England. This time, she won bronze alongside her partner Margo Erlam in the women’s 3m synchro event.
