Commonwealth Games Canada to Take Partnership Management to the Cloud via Activator

The group will use the platform to provide top-flight service to its Premiere and Program Partners online, in real time.

Ottawa, ON, February 6, 2012 – As part of a concentrated effort to enhance engagement and deliver value to its sponsors, Commonwealth Games Canada (CGC) has adopted Activator, a cloud-based partnership management platform designed by Turnkey Sports & Entertainment.

“Our partners make it possible for CGC to accomplish our mission of promoting excellence on the field and fostering the growth of Commonwealth Sport,” said Brian MacPherson, Chief Executive Officer of CGC. “In turn, we strive to provide them the best possible service.  Activator’s tools and functionality will help us do that by connecting us with our partners in an environment geared specifically towards facilitating communication and tracking performance.”

Through Activator, CGC will work hand in hand with partners HBC, PCL, Mizuno, and Running Room to collaborate on programs and share proof of delivery.  In turn, those companies will have access to real-times updates on contract elements within Activator, and be able to communicate internally or with the CGC team at any time using any device with an internet connection.

“Activator is a perfect fit with CGC because they take service very seriously,” said Emily Huddell, SVP of Sales & Service at Turnkey. “They believe it’s important to truly engage their partners and build meaningful relationships over time, and that’s exactly what Activator was designed to help facilitate.”

Commonwealth Games Canada joins other top sports and entertainment brands including AEG, the Chicago Bears, Comcast-Spectacor/XFINITY Live!, Earnhardt Ganassi Racing, International Speedway Corporation (ISC), Major League Soccer (MLS), MetLife Stadium, Minor League Baseball (MiLB), NASCAR, the Phoenix Suns, the San Francisco 49ers, the Seattle Seahawks, Speedway Motorsports Inc. (SMI), and the United States Tennis Association (USTA) on the Activator platform.
