Canadian Judokas Ecaterina Guica claims Gold in debut at lower weight class

Montréal, October 27, 2012 – Ecaterina Guica climbed to the top of the podium in the under 52 kg class, Friday, at the Europe Cup presented in Boras, Sweden. The Quebecoise, who competed in the under 57 kg division, was making her international debut in the new, lower weight class.

Canadian Judokas pick up medals at World Cups

Montréal, October 6, 2012 – It was a prosperous day for Canadian judokas, as the team came away with a collection of three medals, taken from World Cups in Istanbul and Minsk. Catherine Roberge (-78 kg) triumphed in Turkey, while Patrick Gagné (-66 kg) won gold and Alexis-Morin-Martel (-73 kg) picked up silver in Belarus.
