Playing sports has always been a part of my life. From playing games at recess to eventually becoming a competitive athlete, the sports arena is a place where I always felt I belonged. I learned many life skills through sports: teamwork, discipline, and work ethic, as well as how to handle winning and losing. These are all things I still use today.
