KAZAN, Russia – Canadian divers Roseline Filion of Laval and Meaghan Benfeito of Montreal won the silver medal on women’s 10-m synchro and earned an Olympic spot for Canada in the event on Monday at the FINA World Championships.

KAZAN, Russia – Jennifer Abel of Laval, Que., and Pamela Ware of Beloeil, Que., took silver on women’s three-metre synchro and earned an Olympic berth for Canada while Meaghan Benfeito of Montreal and Vincent Riendeau of Pointe-Claire, Que., were also second on 10-m mixed synchro on Saturday in diving action at the FINA World Championships.

July 14, 2015 , Swimming Canada - TORONTO – Canadians advanced to finals in all six events as Pan American Games swimming competition got underway Tuesday at the Pan Am Aquatic Centre.

FABIV divers Roseline Filion of Laval, Que., and Meaghan Benfeito of Montreal won the silver and bronze medal on Saturday on women’s 10-m tower at the Pan American Games.

After allowing the Americans to open the scoring, the Canadians seemed to wake up as they stormed back to take control of the game and keep it out of reach.

The gold and silver officially brings Team Canada’s Pan Am medal total to double digits with 10.
