GLASGOW, Scotland, October 24 -- A jubilant Canadian women’s gymnastics team, led by Ellie Black of Halifax,  clinched a berth at the 2016 Olympic Games on Saturday with a 7th place finish in the qualification round at the artistic gymnastics world championships.

Audrey Lacroix knew from a young age she loved swimming, was good at it and wanted to pursue it further. Often told she was too short to advance, Lacroix ignored the negative, followed her heart and held steadfast to what she believed she was capable of.
