The Canadian won gold in the women’s 3m springboard on Saturday night, and Vincent Riendeau added a bronze in the men’s 10m platform, to punctuate the diving competition at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

The Commonwealth Games hockey competitions are traditionally very high level and this year was no exception with powerhouses Australia, England, India and New Zealand reaching the semi-finals in both men’s and women’s events.

With five fourth place finishes and one silver medal, the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games represent a best ever showing for Canadian bowlers.

Friday the 13th wasn’t that scary after all, producing six Top 5 finishes, including one Gold, two Silver and one Bronze, at Carrara Stadium on day six of athletics competition at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Philippe Gagné and François Imbeau-Dulac continued the medal streak for Canada, earning a silver medal in the men’s 3m synchro springboard on Friday at the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.

And it wasn’t easy.

Gold Coast, AUS – (April 13, 2018) – Day two of the 2018 Commonwealth Games saw Canadian wrestlers fighting back to bring medals home for Canada. In the end, Canada captured a silver and two bronze medals at the Carrara Sports Precinct.
