Rick Mercer Trains With Canada's Women's National Field Hockey Team

The Rick Mercer Report will be showcasing some of the sports preparing to take part in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. The first sports to be profiled are women's field hockey and athletics (throwing teams) and the episode will air Tuesday, March 25th, at 8pm (EST).

The RMR website (www.rickmercer.com) currently promotes Rick's interviews with the athletes.  If you are unable to watch the show live, you can see the clips on the website once the show has aired.We had originally contacted Rick Mercer (who is, incidentally of Scottish descent) to see if he would be willing to work with us in Scotland, and as the show is off for the summer, they offered to profile some of the sports leading into the Games.
