On the heels of world-class Canadian performances at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Games, the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games, and the 2011 Pan American and Para Pan American Games in Mexico, sport in Canada is on a roll.
Canadian athletes at all levels are learning to compete and learning to win, from club-level events all the way to the biggest international competitions like the Commonwealth Games and the Olympics.

Commonwealth Games Canada combines these two important aspects of contemporary sport: supporting Team Canada at the Commonwealth Games and Commonwealth Youth Games; and, pioneering the design and delivery of sport for development programs across the Commonwealth.
The Where Sporting Excellence and Community Meet conference celebrates all that sport contributes to Canadian life and explores a range of hot topics from developing better club-based sport programs to practical tips on getting your sport story into the media to athletes giving back to the community.
Hear from respected leaders in media, government, academia, and community-level sport about emerging trends and exciting innovations. Connect with others who share your passion for sport – athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and administrators.
With a registration fee of only $199, or $99 for students, the conference is going to sell out, so register today!
Registration deadline is February 15, 2012.
