Kyle Reyes takes Home Silver

Montréal, December 1st, 2013 – The Canadian judoka Kyle Reyes didn’t pass under the radar, Sunday, on the 3rd day of competition at the Tokyo Grand Slam in Japan. The only Canadian in action did his country proud, claiming the silver medal in the under 100 kg class.

CANADIAN WOMEN TEAM PURSUIT EARNS SILVER MEDAL, BREAKS CANADIAN RECORD

(Manchester, GBR – November 1, 2013) The Canadian Women’s Team Pursuit squad started the 2014 UCI Track Cycling World Cup on the right note, earning the silver medal in Manchester, GBR. In doing so, the four-woman team broke the Canadian record, posting a time of 4:27.083.

Junior World Championships Kyle Reyes becomes first Canadian to win a world junior title

Montréal – The judoka Kyle Reyes became the first Canadian ever to win a Junior World Championship title, Saturday, after claiming gold in the under 100 kg class in Ljubljana, Slovenia. No Canadian men’s judoka had won a medal since 1992, when Nicolas Gill came away with a silver medal in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Lanni Marchant breaks Canadian record at Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon

Toronto - Lanni Marchant of London, Ont., broke the women's Canadian marathon record today at the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Marchant crossed the finish line in 2:27:58, dipping below Silvia Ruegger's performance of 2:28:36 set in 1985.
