I felt like I swam well, I stayed in with Ryan (Bailie of Australia) and Rich (Richard Murray of South Africa) and then on the bike it was tactical, I made sure that I was always going hard on the hill or the sections where I felt like I could take an advantage."

"The rest of the team did their jobs so well, that is what today was all about, they put me in a good position. Kirsten had an amazing lead off, Matt kept us in there and then Sarah just did a phenomenal job. You can’t ask for anything other than that. We definitely did our best."

"My leg went well, I was the third leg so I feel like it is a little less pressure then going first or last but I just had to execute what I knew I could do and that is what I did so I am quite pleased. I handed it to Andrew in a good spot to fight for a medal so that is pretty much all I could do in the day so I am really pleased with that and everyone’s performance. Everyone gave their best out there and we were really close so it is a good day for Triathlon Canada."

"It was an exciting day with the team. Kirsten did an amazing leg and she tagged off to me and I fed off that and just went out of my mind and tried to race as tactically as smart as I could. Onto the run I just pushed it, gave everything I could and collapsed at the finish as I tagged Sarah. It was a great day with the team totally happy with everyone’s performance."
