“Yes, it was good game. She played a girl who was once ranked second in the world, an experienced player. Sam is progressing, a developing athlete who has great qualities but can add a lot of things to her game. She’s in an excellent situation. Now, she has to continue her progression, reach the highest echelons. She has the attitude and the physicality to do it. That’s where she’s at with her squash. So today, what happened was that she met a more experienced player than her who was able to take advantage of those times when Sam wasn’t playing as well.
