After a red-eye flight, looking tired but excited, members of the Team Canada weightlifting team arrive in the Athletes' Village, pass through the accreditation zone officially becoming village residents and head on a tour being introduced to Team Canada’s home-away-from-home.

Led by Team Canada’s Chef de Mission and Paralympic champion Chantal Petitclerc, a Canadian contingent of 10 accomplished athletes will compete in parasport events at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.
A team of six; three female and three male triathletes donning the maple leaf for Canada as they swim, bike and run, have arrived in Glasgow today for the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The triathlon takes place at Strathclyde Country Park on Thursday July 24 with the men’s and women’s individual events; the team relay is on Saturday July 26th.
