Ottawa – le 6 mai 2023: À l’occasion du couronnement, le conseil d’administration et les membres de Commonwealth Sport Canada tiennent à offrir leurs plus sincères félicitations et leurs meilleurs vœux au Roi Charles III et à Reine consort. Le Canada est un fier membre fondateur du Commonwealth des Nations et un fervent défenseur de nos objectifs communs de prospérité, de démocratie et de paix. Nous appuyons son travail de développement auprès des sociétés et de la jeunesse et sa promotion de l’égalité des sexes, de l’éducation, de la santé et du sport.. Commonwealth Sport Canada est et demeurera un fervent partisan des Jeux du Commonwealth et des idéaux qu’ils représentent. Depuis les premiers Jeux à Hamilton, en Ontario, en 1930, les Jeux ont unifié les nations et contribuent à la paix par l’entremise du sport.. Nous anticipons avec impatience de travailler avec Sa Majesté et le prince Edward, notre patron des Jeux du Commonwealth, pour promouvoir les objectifs du Commonwealth et de continuer de bâtir l’héritage des « Friendly Games », bien au-delà du 21e siècle.

Canada is a proud founding member of the Commonwealth of Nations and a strong supporter of our shared goals of prosperity, democracy and peace as well as its work developing society and youth and promoting gender equality, education, health and sport. Commonwealth Sport Canada is and will remain a strong supporter of the Commonwealth Games and the ideals it represents. Since the first Games in Hamilton, Ontario in 1930, the Games have served to unify nations and promote peace through sport. We look forward to working with Your Highness and Prince Edward, our Commonwealth Games Patron, to further the goals of The Commonwealth and continue to build on the legacy of the Friendly Games well into the 21st century.
