April 27, 2013 , LUBLJANA, Slovenia -- Ellie Black of Halifax (Alta) won gold on women’s vault and Scott Morgan of Vancouver, (Flicka) took the bronze in the men’s floor exercise on Saturday at a 28-country World Cup gymnastics meet.

Canadian men win silver in San Jose

April 21, 2013 — The Canadian men’s judo squad beat the American team in the semi-finals to reach the gold medal match at the Pan-American Judo Championships, Sunday, in San Jose, Costa Rica. In the grand finale, the Canadians succumbed to the Brazilians, who took home top honours.

CYCLING CANADA AND COACH TANYA DUBNICOFF PART WAYS

As of the end of this month, Women’s Team Pursuit coach Tanya Dubnicoff will no longer be working with the Canadian Track Cycling Team. “I’ve had a long successful relationship with Cycling Canada in one form or another for over a decade. This decision came as a mutual one at the end of a long road culminating at this year’s World Championships in Minsk, Belarus”, says Dubnicoff.
